Using the Site
In most areas of this site, I've described my own wedding experience and then included other suggestions, user contributions, and resources. You can mix and match any ideas that appeal to you; more than any other theme, Halloween lets you do things your own way.
The site is broken into several areas:
An introduction to the site, plus miscellaneous housekeeping items such as contact information and picture credits.
Costumes, accessories, and other mood-setting ideas.
Decorating and theme ideas for both the ceremony and the reception.
Suggestions for locale, music, and wording.
Entertainment, music, and other suggestions for the reception.
Cake, food, and drink, plus serving suggestions.
Invitations, favors and other "little touches."
Suggestions for further research. This section also includes some do-it-yourself project ideas and links to off-site resources.
What This Site is Not:
A complete wedding planner. This site will not provide you with to-do checklists, calendars, or lists of caterers. There are a zillion planning sites already out there, and I have neither the expertise nor the interest to add another one. This site is intended to help you add a Halloween touch to your existing plans.
