Am I weird for wanting a Hallowedding?
Definitely not. Unlike a zillion other brides, you're being creative. Everybody has been to dozens of "traditional" weddings; why not have a really memorable celebration instead? (Even better, since you're not following a traditional format, nobody will know if you're doing it wrong.)
Do you know you're celebrating an evil holiday?
No, and don't bother writing and telling me that I'm going to burn because I celebrate Halloween; my standard response is to laugh so hard I get a stomachache and then delete your mail.
Are you a wedding planner?
No, nor do I play one on TV. I'm merely a fan of Halloween who got deeply frustrated when trying to plan her own Hallowedding, and decided to save others some pain.
Why are there so many dead links on your site?
This site is a labor of love, so it's developed in fits and starts as I have time for it. If you're in desperate need of some information that isn't available yet, write me and I'll help if I can.
I really want a Halloween-themed wedding, but my [fill in the friend or relative] absolutely hates the idea. What do I do?
Consider a harvest theme instead. You can go for a more elegant wheat-sheaves-and-autumn-leaves effect, and fill in the gaps with pumpkins. This might be more acceptable, and you still get a Halloweeny vibe. Check out the Motifs page for additional ideas.
